About RAESON

The Renewable & Alternative Energy Society of Nigeria (RAESON) was founded in 2009 at the International Conference on Renewable and Alternative Energy held at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.

RAESON was established to serve as a national platform dedicated to promoting research, innovation, collaboration, and awareness in renewable and alternative energy resources and technologies across Nigeria and beyond.

The Society plays a strategic role in supporting Nigeria’s transition toward sustainable, clean, and environmentally friendly energy systems to address the nation’s energy challenges.

Our Objectives

Idea & Research Exchange

Providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and research information on Renewable and Alternative Energy Resources and Technologies in Nigeria and beyond.

Professional Collaboration

Encouraging collaboration among scientists, engineers, and technologists in Renewable and Alternative Energy fields.

Awareness Creation

Creating awareness of the enormous potentials of Renewable and Alternative Energy Resources in Nigeria to ameliorate energy challenges.

Capacity Development

Organizing conferences, workshops, training, and seminars to promote renewable and alternative energy resources and technologies.

Membership

Membership of RAESON is open to individuals and corporate bodies including professionals in Sciences, Engineering, Agriculture, Technology, Research Institutions, and related fields.
