History of the Renewable Energy Society of Nigeria

The Renewable Energy Society of Nigeria (RAESON) was founded with the mission of promoting the development, adoption, and efficient utilization of renewable energy technologies across Nigeria. Recognizing the growing need for sustainable energy solutions, a group of environmentalists, engineers, academics, and policymakers came together in the early 2000s to form an organization dedicated to advancing clean and sustainable power generation.
